Christmas Party

I had 50 people over for a Christmas open house. Friends and families are truly the beautiful parts of life. I am so blessed.

I'm a hopeful dreamer who wants to see the world change for the better. My heart breaks when people are sick, oppressed, or stripped of dignity. My life calling is to be in these places - and to simply love and give all that I have. Right now, my work with Blood:Water Mission is pretty much my life. And I'm okay with that. I have a life that is mixed with the excitement of running a new organization, traveling with Jars of Clay, and frequently visiting Africa while also dealing the overwhelming tasks ahead of me, the endless hours of work, and the challenge of addressing such a big issue. My heart becomes alive in various, but very special places: an African village, a mountain peak, a soup kitchen, a Mexican orphanage, a tour bus, and a quiet room with nothing but a journal. I love this journey that I am on, and I only pray that I may live it well and give in everyway that I can.
